Re: The best least talked about boat
In the last 3 poker runs I've been in I reluctantly have to admit a 34' nordic has been running around 90...Fortunatly i'm running about 95...but noone says anything about these (seemingly) stable, fast boats...IMHO

I like the 16' and 18' Donzi. Some of best boating memories were from living in Avalon and in Stone Harbor during the summers in the late 80's while in college. Bartending at night, and taking the 18' Donzi out for rides to Brigintine/AC (out in the ocean from Avalon). On a nice day, that was just great.
Yeah, you get wet every so often due to the smallness of the boat, but so what, that is cool. 18' Donzi, I loved that boat. Hot 20 something girls out on the boat, waitresses/barmaids out with me in the boat, some Budweiser, and portable radio --- Glory days!

Superboat! My buddy Krakmeup is having one built right now. Beautiful, well built, inexpensive. Can't wait for a ride!
As for 18 Donzi's... my 1970 Donzi 18 2+3 would get my vote for FUNNEST offshore boat! I ran from Texas City to Offatts Bayou in pretty snotty conditions last Friday and had a BALL! Serious air time!
Here's an original ad that looks just like my boat. It may actually be mine!

THAT must have been some kinda trip down the chanel. Havent seen you out this year. I've had my Scarab in D#ick Bay a few times... once you get up on plane the depth isnt much of a problem. I do stay EAST of where you are though.
