This was our first trip down to the Shootout to display the Rtech wares, and my brother and I thought it was the most concentrated hardcore performance boat show we had ever been to. We already reserved for next year. We met many OSO members and made many new contacts.
Everybody was so laid back and relaxed and you really couldn't tell who you were talking to on the dock. Case in point: On Friday morning we were setting up the display engine and a guy stopped and started asking a few questions. I gave my usual spiel and then we just started talking about boats. After 15 minutes I said that I had better get back to work. I extended my hand and said "My name is Tom Robinson". The guy shook my hand and said "I'm Dave Villcock".
I didn't know...
