It differs from a poker run, in at that, there is no set route,
you pick the bars you want to stop at. ( and there's a bunch of them )
We usually manage to have a good time.

Re: Fall Harbor Hop LOTO
It's a damn good time...it all kind of depends on the weather....I would prefer if it was a week or two earlier in the year - because by the middle of Oct. most marina's at the lake require winterization of customers boats by Oct. 15th or they won't take liability in damage from winterizing.....
BUT, it is fun, usually the last weekend I use my boat in the year, and its nice an calm - only the LOTO regulars are usualy on the water to it makes for a VERY nice boating weekend!...

Getting ready for this event, How many others are going, and does anyone have a plan for a place to meet, etc, for my last boating event for this year??
I have a friend comming down from Omaha NE, with a 22' DCB with 2-outboards that runs around 120, him and I will be running around. If any OSO members are there lets get together!!

I have done it 3 or 4 times. If the weather is nice, it is alot of fun. Many of the bars have live bands, several marinas have beer and food (Kelly's port used to serve free dogs, brats, and beer).
We are planning on hitting several on Saturday between 7 mile (Horney Toad Complex) and 24 mile (Paradise Cafe). May run up to Quackers around the 35MM. We'll go back next weekend to burn some more gas and then winterize.
Probably end up at Frankie and Louis since it is right at the end of our cove.
Hope to see some of you all out and about.
