Where to go on a trip??
I'm from Wisconsin thinking about going south a little bit I just don't want to put the boat away yet!! Where are some places you guys go I don't want to drive more than 8-10 hours. Lake of the ozarks,Jamestown, Ky I haven't got a clue. Hell I might just load up drive and where it looks nice drop it in and go!!!!

We were at Lake Cumberland yesterday. There were still a lot of boats on the lake, weather was a little chilly, but warmer than here.If you want warm weather you will have to go farther south.

It got down to 29 here yesterday and is going to again tonight.
Jeff what is your normal weather like in late November? I might come down and put a few more hours on mine.

92 in Sarasota yesterday too and man were there boats out. Was working on mine outside most of yesterday afternoon, and though I live on a canal, I'm only a quarter mile away from the Gulf as the crow flies and I heard offshore boats running all day long. Better than listening to the radio.

32 thunder...lake of the ozarks will be about a 9 hour trip from the Madison, WI area. They are still having some decent weather in that area and probably will for another 3-4 weeks? Freeze warning for us tonight....28 degrees by morning

Re: Where to go on a trip??
Hello 32,
I actually have an Eliminator..not sonic. It's a little 25' v-bottom (purple and teal graphics). Rhythm and Booms....have done that several times over the past years. Tried this year but got rained out (literally). We were at Bourbon Street Grille when the rain began and had to idle all the way up the channel and back to Olin. Needless to say everyone and everything was soaked.
Where do you do most of your boating?

Re: Where to go on a trip??
I used to have a sea ray just got back into the performance seen again and bought a 32 active thunder. We did our boating at reefpoint in racine this year on the big pond!! I think instead of spending money for a slip this year we are going to devide that money up weekly and stay at different ports do a little traveling
