livorsi/gaffrig gauges
Last year I bought a complete new set of Livorsi gauges (when they were
still calling them Gaffrig) for my 32 Fountain. I have to say,I'm not real
impressed with them. To start with, for some odd reason, both my tachs
glass dulled out,is rough to the touch and is all checked looking, but only
on my tachs, all other gauges are fine. Then the water pressure gauges
face, kind of floated up in the gauge,so there is a large gap visible when
looking at the gauges. I called them, the said I must of over tightened
the fitting. ( I didn't).I went for a ride on a new executioner & they were
the same way. Also both my oil temp gauges are fogged up! I thought
they were supposed to be the best!

I haven't had any trouble with mine, July '01 is when we put them in the boat, and they have held up well, except the speedo is a "little" generous. Sorry for your trouble.

Re: livorsi/gaffrig gauges
Is there any way to artifically log hours onto a Gaffrig Precision (Livorsi) tach/hour meter?
I lost tach/hour meter function due to a bad connection in my engine harness. This has been identified and repaired, and I need to bring up the engine hours to match the other hour meter.
Can I do this with a spare battery and jumper wires, or do I need to send it in?
