OT question about Plymouth Prowler
Hi -
Looking for some wisdom from the board.
I'd really like to get a nice used Plymouth/Chrysler Prowler to bomb around in.
I've looked on ebay and elsewhere and the prices seem to start in the high $20K area...and go up from.
Any ideas on how to buy one "right" ?
I'm a complete moron when it comes to buying cars, so any perspective would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hans

Re: OT question about Plymouth Prowler
Hey Rock,
I work for a Dim/Chry. Dealership...The few that get traded in are marked up 4K to 8K. The best thing to do is get someone thats heading up North to a High Line Auction up in Pa. in Nov or Dec. The winter time up North is the best time to buy a convert. Have you driven on yet?

Re: OT question about Plymouth Prowler
I owned one for three months... It was the worst car I have ever owned and certainly not worth the money. Want a HotRod? I suggest going to several rod runs or the Barrett Jackson auctions and buying a REAL street rod.
The Prowler just is not worth the coin.
