well here is the deal.. I have over 4 posts and as mush as I would have loved to jump on and screw with madcow I just can not ignore the pure stupidity of this ryno guy. Do you really think you can come post a pick of a truck and a cig that noone knows if it is even yours and think you are the chit and then dog on madcow? well it seems you need to add a motor and several feet before you start talking smack. you do relize this guy has a coach that is 10 foot bigger than your boat. so play nice or we shal unleash a world of internet smackdown hurt on your ass.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I went with the long bed after hearing how small the fuel tank was on the short bed.

I ended up with an 04 F-350 4x4 Dually Crew Cab, with Sport Package Black leather, with 21k miles.

Now about the Cig. how does this guy have a boat like that and just start with OSO??? Something doesnt add up.

Congrats on the new truck. I'm sure you will like it. I just got an 05 Ford 4 door short bed dually. This is my first ford ever, but it is a GREAT truck. Just sold a Chevy short bed 4 door. I've never had any issues with being a short bed, and I don't use the bed that much anyway, it's just a tow vehicle.

I also traded in my Excursion for a Ford 4x4 F350 dually crewcab(4door) longbed. The diesel is a towing dream. The Excursion is big, the 350 is really long and wide. Tough as heck to park in lots. The 350 is a really rough ride compared to the Excursion. The dually is much more stable than the Excursion. No sway or getting sucked into wind drafts of semi's. Resale value will be better with the longbed. I asked that same question of 3 dealers, short or long? All told me contractors want long beds. Most did not even stock short beds. I do not concern myself with the turning radius of the truck when I am pulling 40' feet of trailer.
