E-bay SCAM ALERT on boat parts!
Tonight i found SEVEN different fraudulent ads on E-bay for superchargers. The problem with these ads is they are all for ones i looked at last week from legit sellors, now they are for sale from Roma,Italy!!? They actually copied the exact ad's word for word including the original pics from the real ad. Some of the sellers actually have a good feedback rating of 10 or so.I reported every ad to E-bay's security and i am posting this so no member will make the mistake of bidding on these scams, alot of them involve mercruiser parts w/a supercharger,Smitty

Thanks for the warning.
I recieved a "spoof" email from someone yesterday. It said my account had been fraudulently used and I had the send them my user name and password withing 72 hours or my acount would be cancelled.
I went to ebay and logged in then sent the email the Ebay security. they said this morning it was a scam.
be carefull.

I have been getting a couple scam emails claiming to be EBAY every week. Just got one this morning saying something about fraudulant or something, I dont even read them anymore. I usually just hit the reply button and type something dumb like "f*ck off scammer!" I figure if its the real EBAY they'll let me know about it!

There is scam ad in OSO Classifieds right now. I sent the guy an email expressing interest in the SONY VAIO laptop and got back a request for a Western Union only type payout and a UK address. Exactly the type stuff we are seeing on FleaBay. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT EVER SEND MONEY FOR 'DEALS' LIKE THIS. Here are couple links including the OSO ad for the lappy. I'm sending Steve a seperate PM regarding the ad.
New 500HP for $4500 w/0 hrs??? in the Tech Q&A section.
Sony Vaio SCAM in our own OSO Classifieds.
