My Dad is looking for Mecrucy 250 Optimax's or Yamaha 300 HPDI's for the fuel ecomony. Does anyone know of any problems either of these have?

This concept can be had for a song:

Its exceptionally clean, and very well maintained by OSO member Spicy. I'll be the first to admit I know nothing about egg-beaters, but this boat is out there every weekend running strong, and FULL, and I mean FULL of Honeys.

Nice looking boat! But what kind of engines are those? They look like Johnson's?
What is the differences between the old 33 concept and the new 326?

How did the 33 become the 36? Did they measure the boat before without the standoff box? If so how long is the 33 and for that matter the 36 from tip to the back side of the enignes?

The 36 came from the "new" way everyone measures boats these days ... not just the running surface ect.... With the engines the Concept is over 38' I believe ???
