Re: Please help me in making my decision
mobilecal,
Both are great boats. I have ridden in the 25 outlaw and they ride nice for their size. Depends on what you like but there is a Baja every other dock around here so they aren't very unique if you ask me. The sunsation is a semi-custom boat and I believe that they are every bit as good build quality if not better than the Baja. One nice thing about the Baja is the closed cooling on the 496....the 454 in the Sunsation does not have closed cooling so if you are planning on going in salt water, you may want the 496. Neither of the engines have huge upgrade potential from what I've heard as the internals are not as good as a 496HO or a 502. I would guess there are lots more upgrades available for the 454 than the 496. I think either way you'll be happy.

If it is a 25' Sunsation no way hands down Baja. The 25' Sunsation is way too small, now if it was a 28' Sunsation that would be a different story.

Nothing Wrong With A Baja. There A Great Entry Leverl Performance Boat, But There Are Alot Of Other Products Out There That Offer More Bang For The Buck. I Looked At Damn Near Everything And Rode In Quite A Few Before I Made My Decision. My Main Reason For My Purchase Is That I Spend Alot Of Time In The Ocean And Wanted The Reliability Of Twins Not To Mention Better Resale. Look At All Of Your Options. Is Better To Spend A Little More And Get What Ya Want, Because If Ya Dont It'll End Up Costing More When Ya Go To Sell What Ya Have To Get What Ya Want....trust Me !!

Have any of you guys seen a 25' Sunsation,I'm not ripping on Sunsation they are great boats but the 25' is tiny, they don't even build then anymore. It depends on what you are going to do with it,but I'm telling you if you put four adults in it and want to go out for the day and be comfortable you'd better think again,if you want a Sunsation buy a 28',otherwise buy the Baja.

The 28 Sunsation Intimadator has a 8'6" beam, and is considerably larger and handles much differently. There are some good deals out there on 28 Sunsations as well. It is a good time to get a deal buying, not so if you are selling.

Take a look at my website (one of them for the same company). I am the exclusive dealer for a boat called Vindicator. The company that makes them is 38 years old. It is 24' (or 26 overall). Powered w/ a 496 MAG Bravo 1 pkg, it lists for 60K, but I can sell you one (2005 model) for 45-50K new.
Just something to think about. Good luck with your search
