Skip, Neil, Bud, Chad and the entire crew at Cigarette Racing. Regarless what happened with a certain dealership, where I purchased three boats from, Cigarette has always delievered the product in absolutely flawless condition. There was always extra touches Neil added to make the customer happy. Mel Riggs, Riggs Marine, in Eldorado Wisconsin, Joy, from the boat transport company, Bill Tweety from Myco, Bob Luellen from World Wide Marine Underwriters, The entire crew at Grand Sport Center in Morris Illinois, Lets not forget Mark Blondin who, along with Bob Luellen, work tirelessly to make Smoke on the Water Poker Run a huge success for the Make a Wish Foundation, and a great number of you guys and gals who I had the privledge of meeting over the years!!!!!!!

Lets not forget our Mercury Marine Boy's. They manage to bail out all those boat manufactures who's ego is too big to admit they don't know what the F@#@# there doing. We admit we didnt know jack from the get go and found the people who do.
Steve Schroderer Brad Halprin Don Long- ex Mercury Bill Harris Kevin Skiba
As long as everyone thinks they know more than Mercury, and screw's things up, then call either *****ing first that Mercury did something wrong, then begging for help, These gentleman will be around to bail and hopefully humble those BIG HEADS if only those manufacturers could keep there hands from playing with there heads.
I am not saying Mercury is perfect. But to be able to service customers World wide rather than ship a engine or drive back to the builder is Priceless.

Re: Positive Influence People in our Industry
I got to put my 2 cents in for Timmy Dor and Dorre Marine Engines in Windham ME. This guy is a class act as far as I am concerned. As you may or may not know I got hosed on a motor deal. Tim took the motors apart for me and let me just say the bill was not small due to the effort that was needed to take the rusty pieces of junk apart. Well I guess he feels bad for me or something but lets just say he is hooking me up big time on some motors. His shop is clean as can be and his work is top notch. Every motor that I know that he has built has been running flawlessly and they are not babied either. Tim THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Here's one for ya!
Dean Loucks of The Art Of Design! When a paint crisis arraises no matter if it was his fault or not..........the man is there!
Also - Luis Avila of Concept Boats. Probably THE most genuine person in the business. They don't get more real or more caring than him.

Pier 57 staff... worked out a few bugs when mine was new. No questions, came and got the boat twice. One was a warranty and one was driver error. No questions and great response!

Bowker Fiberglass Repair in Holland , Michigan. Martin, the owner, did some work on my Fountain. On time, on schedule, on cost and the finished product was more than I expected.
I beat the crap out of that hull a few time last summer in a attempt to fail the repairs and everything held together. The actual repairs were to correct a poor laminate schedule on a cabin / deck joint on a Fountain sport cruiser. Once the gel was removed all that remained in a good protion of the joint was filler. This joint ran approximatly twelve foot on both hull sides.
Martin redid the complete laminate and finish gel.
