Just think....if we did oil changes at 8,000 miles or more...how much oil that could save. I know the supercharger and turbo vehicles need oil changes more often....but if the manufactures would just make a better oil filter that would do the job

Ok first of all the sensor is BS!!!! All it uses is time and milage to come up with the oil change intervals. If there was actually a sensor in the oil that monitored Parts per million then when you did a oil change it would go back to zero miles with out having to hook up to a computer to reset it. Well it does not. You have to reset it.
PS: Nort I beat the crap out of your cars when I was out there!!!! I am amazed that you did not get any tickets in the mail
Oh ya and like some one else said it is a lease car and unless you are planning on buying it back at the end of the lease then I would just do what they say.
