I may have worked on this boats' engines when I first moved down here in 1979 or 1980 for a guy named "Manny". I was pretty naive, just coming from Chicago, and never questioned the "sweet" smell! These boats had a low X-dimension so they would plane-off fully loaded, but never trimmed correctly when light. These "work" boats are few and far between these days. I remember some "Midnight Express" boats with 900 gals fuel capacity.

If I had a couple $$ laying around I'd be interested - can only imagine the history.
Cozzi - gotta watch it, back in the day you were just working on the motors, nowadays, you would be an accesseroy to the crime....

I called on this a month ago. It was a "work" boat.
It had just been sold to a cigarette collector.
It had a 2nd set of engine hatches behind the bolsters.
