the new designs look like they will stuff a lot more than the old ones. The 32 looks like the nose is prepared to submarine just sitting on the trailer.

what is an old style 32 with no interior worth w/o power? The boat was an old race boat and the cockpit was cut out and never replaced with the pleasure configuration.... the boat looks structurally sound, but the deck needs A LOT of work. The boat isn't for sale, I was just thining of making an offer some day if the guy never finishes it... it has sat like this for 2 years now....

I like the new 24 but I don't know if I will give 100k for one. I think a 28 or the new 30 with the canopies would be nice.

- The cut down 95 46' of recovery was sold to Ohio Steel, then to a pleasure boat called naked prey, now it is HELL FIRE all orange with turbines, owned by Robert Garcia.
-The black 32 is Steele Lightning, before that it was Don Q Rums world championship boat.
-The 24' Skater does look alittle weird cut down like that, but still is one ofthe best designs ever. Pound for pound HP/dollar/mph it unbeatable for an offshore boat. I had two peolpe out one that owned a 42 Fountain and the other a 50 Hustler and they both loved the 24 Skater with 400hp at 95 MPH.

They sort of remind me of the Michelin Tire Man

Sharkey,
I actually was lucky enough to have Ryan take me for a ride on his 24' with him driving and Gary Ballough throttling. Man was that a fun ride with a full circle around Key West and racing a 38 Cigarette with Blower Motors out the harbor. How I kept myself in the back seat still amazes me to this day. Gary actually kept looking back to make sure Myself and the other passenger were still there.

I was at the Skater plant at the end of August and the 24 with the cut down deck was being rigged. Peter said that he built it as a custom order but the individual that requested it had backed out of the deal. Pete indicated that this would likely be a one off and will probably be the only cut deck canopied 24 to come out of the doors at Douglas Marine.
It's a great looking little boat. When I saw it in person, it didn't look like the deck had as much of a pronounced curve as the picture shows.
