I really like Formula's but my cousins old one had the water splash on it, it was pretty cool and basic. This new paint is just too much, and too busy looking.

I love Formulas, and would buy one in a heartbeat....but I would order it solid white.
For the life of me, I could never figure out what they were thinking with their paint. It goes back way before these latest offerings, too. I know I offended someone recently with a "Palm Beach" comment, and it wasn't my intent then, and isn't now but...didn't Formula keep doing the Palm Beach colors long after the rest of the world stopped?
I agree with RonP - the designs always seem to be 5 years outdated when they're new.

Very Formulaish...

If Nort would not of said they changed I would not of noticed, they are very nice boats and very very sober.

Mind you having boats with tons of dark graphics like in vogue now looks good on pictures but give me mostly white, I happen to use and hang on my boat a lot and any dark color is boatching hot and to tough to keep looking good

like you said, it's my opinion... part of my reasoning is that it is still a production paint job, or gel coat, which means others have your exact boat.... that to me makes it undesirable...

or in this case, that fountain is fugly, i don't care for it at all... the beak doesn't help either.

Well the deal at Fountain is...you show them how you want it done and it's yours. Custom factory paint. Not like that at Formula

Try this one on for size if the other one didn't work

But alot of manufacturers use prodution paint jobs, including Cigarette.
Wouldnt bother me in least to own one.
