HELP! I need a name for my new boat (a little different than normal)
Lets try this again. Yesterdays post was lost & everyone was coming up with GREAT names!!!
We have all done the go fast names, now I need a name for my 50' Bertram.
If we could use my last name Dall as a twist, that would be cool (I had a Cigarette named "Party Dall" for example.
If it helps, I am a custom home builder, I have a 3yr old son & 6 week old daughter, the boat will be traveling the eastern seaboard (CT to FL) & the southern islands.
Understated names are cool on big boats (Little Dall perhaps?).
Some of the suggestions from yesterday before the post was lost:
Satin Dall, an old Duke Ellington song.
Sticks & Stones, being a builder
Dallicious
Dallectable
All Dalled up
Dall Haus
Dall House (huh, I kinda recall a nice place by that name)
I forgot who suggested "Panty Dropper" and Swamp Pus*y" but I don't think that will go over well at the yachit club. We have a few of the Thurston Howell types.
Lets hear what ya got!!
Thanks, Dave

Hey there Dave, How about
DALLFUN
When you get back to Stuart, give a ring and we'll hook up with our "old folk" boats, your Bertram and our Sea Ray. You know we have to be getting older, because cruising at 27 knots is actually becoming acceptable

Dave~
"Little Dall" - love it! (oh wait, that was mine - hehe). Now that I know you have a new baby girl, even better! Fits perfect, for several reasons.
I have a boy on the way in two months, (our first) so I am bit tuned into the baby stuff right now.
