north of Mulligans, across the street you get Capt. Al's restaurant & then St Pete Yacht & Tennis club. Northside docks of St Pete Y&T

But Trout is just telling you like it is. MN has adopted laws over the past couple decades to REALLY crack down on DUI. It's not Trouts fault, legislators passed the laws, people voted them in, and the current attitude in MN is to support strict enforcement.

Re: Pinellas County Deputy charged with BUI
The problem is the precedent that they (can) set in enacting the legislation to begin with. It's almost like anything goes as long as it helps to enforce the policy of stricter and stricter enforcement of this particular crime without looking at the larger potential effect. No one would argue that stopping stupid needless death is a priority (there are lots of opportunities on that front) but in addition to the already strict laws, linking federal road funding, forced testing etc to align with a PAC agenda is just getting out of control.
I don't know statistically how DUI stacks up against other crimes or causes per se or even against % of auto accidents, deaths etc. (I'm sure we will hear it) But not even in the prevention of the most henious violent crimes do you see such strong armed tactics coming out of the legislative branch. Purely my opinion, if you don't agree with it I'll change it.
Have a safe day.

And they had better support "strict enforcement" of loud, obnoxious, gas guzzling', manatee killing, ecosystem destroying, powerboats parading on the canal behind my house.
Are ya picking up what I'm laying down?

BTW, MN has had a long history of throwing more government at problems.
