Marina help and opinions
I would like to vacation in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area and would like to stay aboard my boat. I need the following amenties. Power, water, showers and parking for my tow vehicle. My boat is a Velocity 290SC with pump-out head and A/C. I need a marina with dockage for a small boat with limited freeboard (I don't want to have to use a ladder to reach the dock). All help appreciated.
Marina names and phone #'s would be a great help.

Re: Marina help and opinions
Well, that was not exactly the response I was hoping for. I live in NC and was in Miami for the boat show and should have shopped around then but I got distracted. To be on the safe side I have already made motel reservations for my spring (Easter) vacation. I would really like to stay on my boat since I have yet to do that. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Call Mindi at Dollar Marine. She should either have something or be able to help you find something. Dollar is in FT Lauderdale.

Re: Marina help and opinions
Thanks Payton, I may have waited too late. A lot of places I have called have either been booked or do not take a boat as small as mine. Other marinas only take reservations a week in advance. I have booked a hotel and will try to find a marina and cancel the hotel if I find something. Thanks for the help.
