I know how you feel, even though my wifes new Infinity isn't an AMG Benz it is her dream car. Its not a month old and some a__hole dinged her door. The car is black like yours and its soooo obvious. She parks at the end of the parking lots, usually against a curb but her doctors office has almost no parking. So the one time she lets her guard down some jackass with no care for anyone elses stuff puts a 2 inch crease in the door. She sat in the garage for an hour crying when she got home. She has wanted this stupid car for about three years. I wanted her to get the CLK Benz but for some reason this is it for her. I would like to have seen the little prick do it........He'd think about it next time he rakes someones car. Good luck getting it fixed. I plan on trying to have it buffed out and having a paintless dent guy come out.

If you leave it for a few weeks to be repaired, and they use Glazzo or Spieze Hekker, I see no reason why anyone would have to know that it was repaired. The car is not old enough to see any noticable fade, and if it's done right, even an expert won't be able to tell that it was repaired.
The same thing happened to me, but I replaced the hood. The color match was perfect.

paint thickness will always give it away, doesn't matter what it looks like...
