"BYC" congrats, you just managed to drive through the middle of the whole storm. From what they just said on the weather forcast, it appears you and the storm were "riding buddies". Glad you made it safely.

that storm was so bad you cannot belive the amount of water, we were on the interstate driving 5 MPH in water that was 1 1/2 feet deep. if it kept raining like that for much longer they would have had to shut down the highway.
the good thing was that i was falling asleep and everytime the truck would hydroplane it would wake me back up.

the storm had just enough rain to soak into the concrete bags and make them set up good. too bad we could not find another lowes that was still open to be able to form up the photo platform

Now that sounds like offshore Boating Weather! I don't understand why you would want it to be like a lake ride. Deal with what you are given for weather and maybe keep a hand on the Throttle.
