Bought the McGuires marine wax. It has both carnuba and polymers acording to the label. Good or bad, it's going on.

Old school and only use polish but just got a bottle of Boat Sheild from DannyD to try - anyone use it? Even has the OSO logo with the Cig. on the label.
Says Acrylic/ Polyurethane. Sould I wash the boat with Dawn to strip all the old first and start fresh ?
