Default Dual needle/single gauge trim indicator

Has anyone seen an electronic fed system for number 6 drives?I visualize a short ,morse type cable from the trim linkage through the transom to a potentiometer.Conducters would connect the potentiometer to a small eprom with I/O capacity for learn/teach.The programable logic control for each drive would then display on the dual needle gauge via conducters. The needles could be stacked or side by side. The system could learn several drive positions and save to recall. If no one has seen such a system then I will design one,and try it.
