I just now saw your question.
The law here says 4' back and 4' up, so that's where I measured it.
Our limits are 92db, so I'm in great shape!

The Extremes have built in flappers. No reversion problem at all with mine.
In fact they are stiffer than the Salisbury flappers, so should prevent reversion better.

Not yet, but we're working on it!
Water getting back into the muffler shouldn't be a problem with the Extreme's built-in flap. The design also allows enough water flow through the muffler to keep it from backing up the exhaust.
