Bravo 1 drive torque specs???
I'm looking for torque specs on the following:
2 locknuts located on top of the drive on gimble ring directly in front of the steering pin. Locknuts face directly aft
6 locknuts that hold the drive to the bell housing. Locknuts face directly aft.
2 nuts on either side of the long pin that holds the trim hydraulic rams to the outdrive. Locknuts face directly port and starboard.
Thanks!

Re: Bravo 1 drive torque specs???
from my 88 merc manual,
u-bolts nuts 30-40 lb. ft. most people on here say 45, 45 is close to stretching or breaking the stock ones. I do 40 a couple times a year.
stern drive unit to bell housing 50 lb. ft.
ram pin nuts. tighten till nut just bottoms out.
