carb setup opinions wanted
I know little about carbs but here is what I have. Any info on what size these may be and if you think they match my application.
Engines are Merc 425's in a '86 scarab. Stainless Marine exhaust, and bowl ported large Rect. high performance chevy heads.
The carbs are Holley Barry Grants, The butterfly's have 172 stamped on them, powervalves are 6-5's, 30cc accel. pump, jets are: Front 77's and rear 87's.
I hope this is enough info.

The jetting is off .usually its only 8-10 sizes difference between the front a rear. With the spread it should only have one power valve.
What squirter's in it?
The Barry grant carbs should have a # on them..Maybe on the side of the body.I assume it sounds like a modified Holley by Barry grant ???
I would think that motor would need a 850cfm.
Rum Runner on this board works for Barry grant . Do a search and pm him or just call them ,But get your #'s first.

Strip, I edited the first post. The jetting is 77 front, 87 rear.
Squirters are 31Front, 35 Rear. The main body has P46 on one side, and R24 on the other. The plate that has the butterflies on it is 12R-4770B.
There are also numbers on the side that appears it was done with a pencil grinder.

Also while it is apart would it hurt to polish the venturies after I clean it up? I will not touch them unless someone says it will not hinder performance.

Thats sounds better #4779
From Holley Thats a 750 cfm with drop down boosters.I think it might be small. unless Barry grant hogged it out .
You don't want to remove and of the gold color on it they will corrode.
Call them with the #;s and see what they say . Back when Barry grant was redoing the Holleys there wasn't much done to them.
