Can someone please tell the best way to replace the trim limit and the trim sender on a bravo 1 drive.Possibly without removing the gimbal housing.

I have done it several times Bravo and Alpha. You still need to take the hinge pins out and lower the housing. That will give you enough room to put a swivel on an extension. I taped the bolt into the socket when I reinstalled it.
Nothing to it, if you have small hands

If you realy feel like fighting it, it can be done without removeing the drive are bellhousing, once you figure out the method its not too bad. I use a grabber tool(chinese fingers) to hold the bolt while I turn it with an open end wrench just to get it started then use the flex socket. you need a flex socket(7/16) not a flex extension, the flex extension and socket combo won't fit. Good luck

I have replaced the limit switch by just installing the kit which is the guts only. At one time you could only get the limit switch as a whole set with wire and all.

Not to mention I've run 700-1200HP through these U joints and never hurt one. From experience the gears will fail long before the U-joint will.

You don't typically turn full lock at WOT, at least I hope you dont
The U-joints do bind past a certian point, Nxt time you have your drive off, try turning the input shaft with the u-joints in a flexed position, past a certian point they will turn in an eliptical motion and thats cuase they are binding, The drive can also be tilted to a more extreme angle then it can be turned. No the HP gimbals don't have Trim Limiters, I don't know the reasoning behind that, If you can get ahold of Mr. Gadgets on here, he might have some info on that.
