Default Tab Mounting

Just out of couriosity, where do you all of like to mount your tabs? It seems that most people mount them out as far as possible and put them flat. I have seen some others that like them mounted in and at angle. Just courious.

Thanks Warren. Yeah that does seem different. Is your boat prone to any odd handling tendancies or does go through the smooth and the rough really well?

I've heard some people say that mounting them in will make the boat more prone to chine-walking? Also, wouldn't the boat go faster if they were mounted on the furthest to the outside to reduce drag? Just courious because fountain claims the best spot is flat and furthest to the outside.

Saxman; Our boat handles very well in all water con., and will turn on a dime, in fact boat handling is why we are winning races. The main reason we mounting the tabs the way we did was due to the way the bottom is made. What we did was mount the tabs so they make the boat think it is 3' longer then it really is. This of course works good in big water.
