No. You can by a timing cover that will allow you to use a double roller. I got it from Comp. all aluminum, not cheap. I then also used an older style cam. Nice cover but I also had to grind a couple of thr plugs in the new cover to clear the balancer.

I have 2 gen V with double roller. It's the gen 6 that has a problem. I'm using the Cloyes Hex Adjust and a roller cam that requires a cam button.

no, it will not fit any alum gen 5 or 6 bbc in my experience. I groung mine out and it works just fine. Don't know if I would do that on a big hp motor but my truck engine got it done.

According to an engine builder here in Stockholm it will fit. So I will now order a Crane double roller
