Default carb recommendation

What 4 barrel carb would you guys recommend as a replacement on my older stock SB 260 hp alpha? I have a 4 brl Q-jet, it need rebuilding so I thought it would be a good to just swap to something new insted of rebuilding. any suggestions?

What's your Budget?. I have a Barry Grant Mighty Sea Demon and I sent it to Nickerson Performance and had them re-work it what a difference. You will need a new manifold Edelbrock RPM Air Gap is what I used.

A rebuild kit is about $45. Unless you're making other mods, it wont run better or faster than with the Qjet. Spend the $45 and take an hour to rebuild it.
