Default Bolster seat problem

Can anyone tell me where I can get a new hydraulic shaft for my McLeod bolster seat. The seat will not stay down and if you sit on it , it wont stay up. I'm assuming I need to replace this part it looks like its all one piece including the cable that connects to the button that you push to make it go up or down.

Went thru that with my SR357--it's probably the button sticking at onee end or the other. Get some BoeShield or CorrosionX or some other lube and lube the cyclend end of the "button" and the shaft. Then make sure the button isn't binding anywhere.

It's also possible that cylinder has a problem.

I've got suppliers name at home and I'll post tonite if you need it

If that doesn't work out call McLeod.
I needed the switches for my 98 Mcleod seats and looked EVERYWHERE. turns out McLeod had them in stock, would sell me a few as I needed, AND at the cheapest price I could find. (I don't claim they were cheap at about $11.00 ea., but the cheapest I found)

http://www.plporter.com/home/ie/index.html helped me get the push buttons for my seats. The older bolsters used the Porter Hydrolok system for seats. The parts are under "Manual Systems" on left side of thier home page.

They have a rebuild and an exchange program for the cylinders and are extremely helpful. Thier primary market is airplane seating.

Let me knnow how you make out with them.
