Have you checked the basics? Verify total timing, be sure the throttle/carb cables are opening all the way. Floats set right? Can you disconnect the rev lim temp? Are these the same props you saw 72 with?

So at least now I know the motors will rev over 5k. I'm just not making enough power to spin the 25's.
The props the boat went 72 with are coming. Sutphen 30 owns them he's going to ship them to me to try. My boat is the same as his its a 30 ft sutphen. he went in the 80's with these props with 535hp and nose cones. My boat does not have nose cones. But I think going to add them.
Sutphen30 which nose cones do you suggest?
