Default fluid leak from trim tab

boat is on hoist most of time, but when lowered into the water you can see the 'slick' on the surface of the water from the trim tab fluid. I tightened all the nuts where the lines attach to the tab and to the thru hull fittings, but it still happens.
Any advice on what to check?

what kind of tab? Bennett or K-Plane?

If it's the k-plane you probably need to rebuild the ram. It's pretty easy to do, the kit comes with seals and you also need the spanner wrench to loosen the retaining nut. Sometimes the pin's that hold the ram into place can be a b#tch to get out.

If it's a Bennet just go buy a new actuator and put it in.
