Guess thats the way it's spelled.
Anyway I have the old stile that mounts a anode and reciever on the transom either side of the drives. Question is which one is the reciever The one with the metal strip or the one with the holes.
Thanks

Tried to scan parts of Mercathode manual and files git to big. I did re-read and some data that might help.
THe bulbous nipple looking part is the Anode--it looks to be a zinc that is threaded over the end of a thru transom stud. Instructions for removal of old system say unscre/remove that and put a plastic cap over end to stud. The cap is supposed to be included in new merathode kit.
The electrode part of the system is the box shaoed thing that mounts on bottom of gimble housein or is a round seperate piece mounted on transom with some small holes in face.
Hope that helps.
