Default Low Rpm's & Speed

Low Rpm's & SpeedI have a 1996 24' Baja Outlaw SST with the 454 Mag EFI/MP motor, and a 1.50 r Bravo 1 outdrive. The problem that I am having is it's NOT reaching the operating range 4600-5000 at wide open. And the gps is showing MAX 53 MPH. I can only get the boat to 4500 rpms, no matter how far that I trim it up. I played around with the tabs, and it only slows it down after 3 bars down from the top. The other thing that I have noticed is that the skeg is a little bent to the left. Could that slow me down about 10 MPH? I did the math and a 23p Mirage Plus prop on that boat should be around 62-64 MPH at 4900 rpms. I just had the prop re-done back to original and it didn't make any difference. Another thing is it is bouncing after about half throttle. The boat, motor, and outdrive all have around 327 hrs. on them. So I can't see too much of power loss. Have done a tune-up, cap, rotor, d.i. module, plugs, wires, cleaned flame arrestor, had to change IAC, and coolant temp sensor. I started having the problems after it ran into shallow water. And at the same time the IAC and running rich acted up. So if someone could help me with this ongoing problem, or any suggestions.

What do you mean double the tach ans? And what would you suggest on a prop, 3 or 4 blade and what pitch to achieve my range and speed.

What was the performance of the boat before it ran into shallow water? Did the boat run aground and damage the props? If so, how badly were the props damaged.
Can you describe the "bouncing" after half throttle?

Before when I first bought the boat it did about 60 mph ( on speedo). I can't remember what the tach had showed. But I have always had the problem of coming up on plane and feeling like the motor was breaking up around 3000 rpms. As for the porpoising after half throttle, it just gets worse. And it's a single prop, 1 454 mag efi/mp. The prop might have been slightly damaged before, but I'm not certain.
