Question Plumbing question

I'm rigging a Baja that a customer installed a blower on and no longer is using a normal t-stat housing. The boat is rigged with the high perf merc manifolds (same as a 540 bulldog) which has two inlets. Should I block off the nipples on the risers? Or run a crossover hose from riser to riser. This would feed the water from the outlet on the intake directly to the bottom of the manifold and out the riser.

Thanks

Capt Ross
