HP500 Valve Springs..How long should it take to change?

JaayTeee--I will be pulling the engines this winter regardless. Sending them for freshening, upgrades, and couplers need to be changed. I just didn't want to take any chances on the Valve Springs, plus I though it was a 2 day deal to have them changed. I even waited for them(the marina) until they were caught up so I didn't lay the boat up. I gave them a full week
to comlete this job. I had a Poker Run to attend and I wanted this done first.

Thanks Sean, That makes me feel even better about this situation. Did you have to remove the exhaust manifolds?

I took my manifolds off.
You could do it with them on,
but it looked to be more of a pain to
work around them that it was worth.

Well the general concensus is two days max. Which means I'm getting F'ed in the arse
I want to show these posts to the owner of the marina so he can see what of waste of time this has been for him and me. Is there a Merc. service book which estimates the time of this project? Thanks again for the replies.
