Believe it or not those liquid filled speedos are pretty accurate. I went out in my boat this week to test some labbed props that I just got in, took a GPS off the shelf made myself a portable dash out of a box to get my true speeds. When I was running the stock liquid filled gauge at times was right on and other times maybe 1 MPH off, if that much. I was quite surprised, maybe just luck of the draw..
