Just in case MACTONITE's reply got overlooked in the thread, absolutely DO NOT run your Borg-Warner in reverse to reverse the rotation. The reversing gear is just a little planetary setup, and it only has a couple clutch plates to do the job. The forward clutch pack directly couples the driveline, and it uses 7 or more clutch plates to do the job. The rebuilt and overbuilt units use several more.
Repeat, do not run under any load with the transmission in reverse!
