Default American Offshore Repower with Mesa Racing Engines

Two weeks ago we were approched about powering an ex race boat we built engnes for years ago and now they're wanting to poker run with it . The original American Dream won countless races with the old class motors we use to run and hopefully we can play hard with the poker runners now days . They are going to be 555ci with a prototype dart cnc port design were hoping to make 750 ft lbs of torque and around 720 to 750 hp on pump gas 89 oct . Im going to keep you guys posted because with the price of gas the way it's going were going to need all the help we can get. Here are some the components for the build Crower billet rods JE full round skirt custom pistons with custom ring packages and the top ring moved down hydraulic roller and as soon as I finish the heads and Wilson finishes the intakes I'll show them also.

I thought American Dream was a Shadow Cat. I have a freeze frame video with it in '87 in Key west when it had United Racing engines in it and it was a pretty fast boat.

Any pics of the boat? Also, is this a Natural or supercharged motor? With those numbers including and not limited to the 89 octance number, you have my attention!!

The boat has been redone and is now white with green interior it has two blower engines in it now and were going to go with na motors . I'm going to make that power for sure I'm most likely going to need STRIPPOKER to tell me how to post the dyno video since he's the expert . I sure can't figure it out.

Yes it is the original Dream boat..well at least one of them. you see there was more than one. This one is the Shadow, there was a Skater and an Image (the one that flipped in Key West...Hell I think he flipped all of them at one time or another) cat too. And the last one to go was a 31 Shadow originally known as Love it Again..later renamed Phantom.
