Consider this The stock air cleaner only had a short hose 2" out of the breather from the valve cover. The new Vortec filter is much bigger with alot more airflow and the hose is about 8" to the back of the filter. Could it be that the airflow is sucking up resisdual oil. I don't see any loss of power or top end power loss and no Blue puff of smoke upon start up. It only does it under WOT. Thanks Everybody for the replies..
