Default Transom Assm Torque Specs

I am replacing my '88 Bravo transom assm's with new ones but found no torque specs with them. My old ones had some alum stove bolts at the bottom and some bolts at other spots and studs at the top and my manual say to torque to 20-25ft/lb. The new ones have 8 studs but I need to know if it is still the same torque spec.

I also found that they have changed the exhaust block-off plates and I had to machine a notch into my old ones to get them to bolt up.

Make sure you don't overtorque it at all, they like to crack especially if the transom is dead even across the surface. I've found it's on of those places that you really want to use a good torque wrench.
