Somebody here switched to 671's on his 525sc's a while back and kept the same 5.5# of boost and lost about 4 mph on a 35??? Fountain The bigger SC's take a lot more hp to spin.

I can give you my experiance for what it's worth. I replaced a 250 holley with a blowershop 871 on a 502 and picked up 3mph and alot more punch. I also took a pair of 525sc's,added whipple innercoolers and a slightly smaller pulleywhich added only 1psi over stock boost , and picked up 4mph and stronger accelleration! Good luck. By the way, jetting was still good on the 525 after the cooler and pulley install.
