Re: how much water pressure are you running?
I'm running twin 500 HP Carbed. The water pressure shows 0 when idle, 10-12 cruising, and about 15 with wot. 32 fountain. Is this normal?
Water temp stays low.

baja36, do you think I should worry about such low readings? I just had both impellers / seapumps replaced. Boat has ran perfect since I bought it about 3 months ago.

idle less than 5
cruise 14-18
WOT 22
I have a similar setup to you, crossover, no t-stat, raw water pump, and a through hull water p/u. I grinded the through hull p/u down until the water pressure dropped to 15ibs cruise. I also added a pressure relief valve off my sea strainer that dumps water over board at 22psi. Water temp stays at 130* unless I clog the sea strainer. Works like a charm.

Your h2o pressure is fine. Mine is almost the same and has been for 220 hrs without any problems. It did drop a couple lbs when I changed from Gils to CMI exhaust.
