Wanted Diamond Plate Source
I'm looking to add some color to my engine compartment over the winter and wanted to do some work with some anodized purple diamond plate. I can find the standard polished 4X8 sheets but can't seem to find any anodized. I guess I'm not sure if I should fab what shape I need in the standard and send it out to get anodized or if the sheet product is available in purple??? What are you guys doing??

I don't know if you can buy it anodized purple, but in my opinion you would be better off to fab what ever pieces you need including the mounting holes and then sending it to get anodized so that all the surfaces are protected.

I would think it would be better to cut the pieces you want and get them annodized, rather than get a whole sheet anodized. If you cut a sheet that was already anodized the cut edge would be aluminum color and not purple.
