Default 2006 Jaws with Mesa 650hp

There are a few guys with Jaws that have emailed me in the past here is 2006 with one of our MB650na package it went 84mph on gps at 5200 rpm with a 4 blade bravo we finished it and tested last week unfortunately it came back today with a lifter noise and were having to change the bad lifter it was acting up from day one and George elected to leave it to see if it would go away no luck here are some pics of the rigging and the engine. Cool! I didn't realize they were still making Jaws. Do you know how much that boat weighs? With 650HP I would think it would run faster than 84. What pitch prop? I'm turning a 28P to 5000 with only 425HP in my Superboat.

he's turning a 28 pitch also you got to remember this is a very old design hull and it's not the most efficient one out there the way they lay up the glass for the transom usually creates a hook that has to be fixed when its cured . Sincerely Laz
