Merc ITS or traditional hyd. steering?
This winter I want to upgrade my steering on my Eliminator 236 to hydraulic. (1/2 system) I am wondering what would be the better choice. ITS or twin exterior cylinders? I dont want the single ram setup I think it looks poor. I have a 454Mag single w/ bravo 1 drive. Year 2000.
Any ball park prices on each? I am going to pull the engine anyhow to replace the coupler. Any other reccomendations would be great too.

Re: Merc ITS or traditional hyd. steering?
The ITS is a clean package, with the internal steering cylinders. I put one on a 272 Baja with a 2" shorter Sportmaster and saw about a 3MPH improvment. I am going to put the boat back to stock and sell the transom assembly.
