The Racor B32020MAM Fuel Filter is their direct replacement for the ubiquitous Mercruiser 35-60494 spin on water separating fuel filter.
Mercruiser recommends end of season filter replacement . The Mercruiser filter has no drain valve but the Racor unit does.
Anyone know what is the recommended replacement interval is for the Racor filter element assuming that it is drained as necessary?

Racor tech line says 500 hours with good fuel or one year. Must not let water top the filter or the media will be irreparably damaged and will stop coalescing the water.
Also Mercruiser 35-802893T fuel separating fuel filter has superseded the Mercruiser 35-60494-1 that Racor refers to on their web site.
