Default Mcleod Electric Actuator rebuild

I've got a McLeod electric footrest with a bad actuator. The motor seems fine, but the part that it spins turns freely and doesn't raise or lower the actuator (I had to cut holes in the bottom of it to get to the bolts holding the whole thing to the floor to remove it.) I've talked to McLeod and a new one is 250 for the whole thing, motor and actuator. Any ideas where I could get just the mechanical part of the actuator rebuilt/repaired??
