Default 575SCi blowers

I am planning to replace the bearings and seals in my blowers over the winter. I checked BAM's site for seals, bearings and gaskets but they weren't illistrated.

Anyone know what manual I would need and where to get the gaskets from? I think I could get the bearings and seals from a bearing supply unless they are special made for Merc.

I have the first Weiand style blowers.

Thanks

Storm:
Have the Blower Shop go through them. Good work, just don't get in a hurry. They are either very busy, take their time or both. I sent my Weiand/Merc 256 to them last winter, and it's been been working well ever since.
He goes by "BBQ" something on here. Maybe he will chime in.
I think this link will work www.theblowershop.com .
Regards,
Steve

As far as the service manuals, Mercury Racing Service Manual #8 (part # 90-840542) and Mercury Racing Diagnostic manual #8 (part # 90-841053) pertain to the 575Sci. However, there is no information in these manuals about disassembly and service of the supercharger. It is stated that other than the snout, front cover, and drive coupler, no internal parts are available and the entire unit must be replaced.

A $7,000 dollar throw away

I'm going to give the Blower Shop a shot at it. They said to rebuild then would cost $420 if I didn't need any special parts.

How many hours are you guys running this blower before you have them rebuilt? I have the newer version with the rear sealed bearing and I am spinning it harder than stock. My understanding is seals and bearings are readily available but not major parts. Want to rebuild before there is rotor damage.

My buddy sent a pair of them to The Blower Shop last spring. They were done within 2 weeks and the bill was less than a grand.

Nice work, great service and short $$$

I have about 150 hours on mine and I see a slight leak from the snout seal on the starboard side. Someone recently put on here that there's failed at about 175 hours. I don't want to let that happen.
