I want to get some honest objective opinions on the Max Machine Worx drives. Who runs them and how do you like them. What are the Pros nad Cons? Any help would be appericated.

Re: Max Machine Worx
My boat came with a Teague Plastic shaft XR, the down shaft broke after the first season. At that point I changed all the shafts to Max Machine and knock on wood I haven't broke one since.

They are great to deal with. They are always there to answer questions. Have had one of their drives behind 700 hp in v and no problems in three yrs. Will have another one of their drives built this fall for new project.

I been running there upgraded version of a bravo drive for 4 years. I break something about every 50-75 hours BUT I am very satisfied with the quality of there parts overall. currently 944hp/962 ft lbs tq single 27 ft boat 5000 lbs. I feel their Bravo mods are the best out there, just remember though ,they stilll use stock xr gears,Smitty

Re: Max Machine Worx
The guys at Max Machine are great to deal with. My cat came new with 750hp and an Imco Extreme. Lasted 1 month! I swapped out to Max Machine and have since gone with bigger blown power, 965hp/1045 ft lbs tqe. Can't say it hasn't broken but I get at least a season out of each rebuild (70-80 hours). I can't find any Bravo system better for any price.
